Happy Irrational Day

It was kind of funny this morning, my wife asks me," Is it march 13?"
My Answer: "Yes, it is."
Her response:" Oh! That is why there are adds on pies today."

People may wonder what is so great about pi?

Pi is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of any Euclidean circle's circumference to its diameter. π is approximately equal to 3.141592653589793238. Pi's value cannot be expressed truly into fraction form considering that it does repeat nor have a pattern.  Reports on the latest, most-precise calculation of π are common news items; the record as of September 2011, if verified, stands at 5 trillion decimal digits. Now how would you like to write that one out..lol.

Plus an added bonus for this holiday is the fact that it is the field of physics godfather's birthday today as well. Albert Einstein!!

My family has known since I was a little tike that I have been a fan of The Smurfs. This year for Christmas I received a DVD of The Smurfs 5 bonus cartoons. My loving wife gave The Smurfs movie. I was excited to see some of these items in my stocking this season for the Holidays.

I also recieved a GPS for the longs trips through down state Michigan or going to visit my cousin and his family on the other side of the state in Wisconsin. ROAD TRIP..:)

Happy Holidays

I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy Holidays. If you are spending it time with your families I hope that it is enjoyable throughout this time of the year.

We are hosting the Christmas Eve party this year. I hope that it does well and my wife's dad is coming to town from lower MI for a couple  of days. I hope that everything goes well for the next couple of days:) Please wish us luck.

Getting Geared Up

I am still in awe that my little munchkin is going to be 1 year old(12 months) in less than a month. So that means the birthday party. It has been crazy trying to figure out what we(my wife and I) would like to do for the big day.

We are going to be having cupcakes(yummerz) strawberry and lemon all homemade. You cannot get anything better than that combo. Of course, that is the dessert. What will we be serving as the main course:

• pork sandwiches
• spud salad
• hot dogs
• cashew apple salad
• homemade baked beans
• beverages

All I have to say is this,"Where did the year go?" I demand an answer. It seems like it was yesterday that we brought home our little bundle of joy. She sure has grown so quickly before our eyes. It sure has been an adventure this past year  everyday learning something new about raising a little one.
