Made to Year 3

I just cannot believe that lil Miss Avia is 3 year old today. This sassy sweet girl always makes life interesting and teaches us something new eveyday. She tries our patience, but boy she is our little munchkin that makes us smiles each and every day.

Got Through Year 1

 I'm in awe that my son is 1 year old..ALREADY!!!!!  This past year has been a whirl wind. I am just trying to slow time down but it not working. Where is my Deleon?? It is like pushing a boulder up a hill with a mudslide to slow down the days. Sure is hard with the wife watching kids and me working like crazy.

Crazy seeing how much this little man has changed up our lives. He was the BEST surprise we have ever received. Plus with no help...it happened all our own with no assistance.

Always such a happy go lucky kid. Happy that he is more of a go with the flow type of a kid until his middle sis. After a tough day at work that smile sure does make the day wonderful.

For his birthday we laid low and stayed home and had fun. Unfortunately his eldest sister is sick...

If this year goes by this fast going to interesting to see how fast the future years to come goes by.

AquaGirl's birthday and more...

It has been a crazy this past week. On Sunday, we(the wife ans I) celebrated Aquagirl's 2nd birthday. I still cannot believe that it has been 2 years already. People are correct that the time sure does FLY by. It was geat to have some family and close friends over for my munchkins big day.

She received plenty of clothes and toys to annoy us and yes I know for a fact some of the gifts were pay back..lol. All in all it was a great party and the princess of the hour had a great one. I cannot believe how fast a clean house can go to a messed up on is 3 hours.

The other thing that has occupied my week as well has been watching Season 1 of Game of Thrones. If you have seen this series it is to be watched when little munchkins and young eye are hiding. I do not have HBO;so the waiting over 2 months to see this series since the library got into the system.

I will be waiting impatiently for Season 2. I am hooked to the series and no not because of some of the naughty scenes..lol. Crowning up I have always like the sword fighting and knight like a Arthurian era.I have not read any of the books are Martians work as good as the movie?

Amazing Birthday:)

On Friday it was my birthday, the BIG 3-0. I cannot believe it that I am 30 already. It was a pretty good one that is for sure. my wife had the most amazing cake made for me, it was any geeks dream. She had the woman she work with make a cake that looks like a motherboard. Now talk about total AWESOMENESS. We are friends with the owners of the bar and had a mug of old-fashion that is the equivalent to four drinks in that one mug..:) All I can say is WOW and all I did was get a buzz from the drink.

Throughout that week myself, me wife and Aquagirl were battling the flu. Aquagirl is still battling the virus. I just hope that she can get over this SOON. My wife is taking her in to see if it is just a virus, because Aquagirl has had it over a week now;(

I hope that this week goes a little bit more smooth than this past week went.

1st Birthday Party:Success

Mrs. GD and I have been (seriously) planning JTW's for the past month or so. The event took place last Saturday. Mrs. GD does not deal with stress to well. When she is anxious she bites he nail like crazy.I am happy that she still has all her finger intact. 

The amount of food that we put on could have fed a small army. We did have a great turnout for the lil JFW's 1st Birthday Bash.We are still eating some of the food that was at the party...I am not complaining we really had to decide what to have for dinner since. We are a well fed family off of potatoes salad, pulled pork,and  homemade baked beans.We did find something out we are just going put on brats and hot dogs instead of shelling out the extra money for the pulled pork. YA!! Win for us.

I think that it is perfect to have a little one to be born in May. We thought that JTW's closet was full before the birthday party. With all the summer clothes that we received, I believe that she might need a new and improved closet.

Tupperware and Beyond

Last night my wife held a Tupperware Party that she holds every couple years. In my opinion(usually does matter that much), I thought that last night get together turned out pretty good. I think that I saw all the snapping of lids and air tight quality for one night.

My job was not watch the consultant present the new and improved merchandise. It was to keep JDW busy and not getting into everything and that is what yearlings usually do anyway. Every father knows a happy mother is a happy household:) Job completed with a success. We watched some Monster Inc mostly until she was ready to laid down for bed.

That party happened on Wednesday and on Saturday we have JTW's 1st birthday party. I for one cannot believe that it is ALMOST. My wife is nervous, but I know that it will go fine. The parties that we put on usually go pretty good. I help out as much as I can(the mover and vertical presence), but my wife does a great job organizing the parties.
With all these parties going and the binging is hard to stop.

All in all it should be interesting nonetheless, so after this Saturday will not be completely clueless just semi-clueless.

Getting Geared Up

I am still in awe that my little munchkin is going to be 1 year old(12 months) in less than a month. So that means the birthday party. It has been crazy trying to figure out what we(my wife and I) would like to do for the big day.

We are going to be having cupcakes(yummerz) strawberry and lemon all homemade. You cannot get anything better than that combo. Of course, that is the dessert. What will we be serving as the main course:

• pork sandwiches
• spud salad
• hot dogs
• cashew apple salad
• homemade baked beans
• beverages

All I have to say is this,"Where did the year go?" I demand an answer. It seems like it was yesterday that we brought home our little bundle of joy. She sure has grown so quickly before our eyes. It sure has been an adventure this past year  everyday learning something new about raising a little one.
